Yokohama summer day without flipphone

My fliphone experiment was very short-lived. I like to live as conveniently as possible, and buying an extra suica card and recharge it with cash.. sounds annoying. So I have to carry my iphone with me all the time, that is super heavy. I also can't live without google maps live view (;^ω^)。

I was heading to Yokohama around 1 pm, and it was so humid already. Took the shonan shinjuku line and arrived 1 hour later. This time, we went to Motomachi.

It has the feeling of Europe with the cobble stones. I felt like home 💞Our goal was a chinese tea house where we did gongfu cha . We chose GABA tea for health and anti aging.

Tea pet was a peanut

Caleb dressed for the occasion.

In the background was tradtional chinese music, it was so relaxing. The toilet got an incense burner, it smelled really nice.

Next stop was Yamate and I fell in love 💕

around the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century, a lot of foreigners lived there. It's one of the most expensive area in Yokohama. It's really really beautiful. So many old houses and  churches.
Met a german family with 3 Dachshunde, they are from Munich and live in this area. Also my beloved drama, tatta hitotsu no koi was filmed there! Made me want to watch it again.
The air was also so much better. Lots of old cute cafes. I want to go one with my boyfriend. Will definitely become a date to remember.

omg the cherry blossom princess of hamburg was there!!

it still works

German House, we are everywhere

The german house was a school, church, and got even a kindergarten! But it burned down :(.

Around 17:00 we headed back to motomachi, and ended up in china town. We were a bit clueless where to eat and ended up at Jonathans 👀there were a lot of foreigner with japanese person couples. My friend thought that was interesting but for me it was a synchronicity.
